Going to Longwood Gardens

March 10, 2015

When my friends Karen and Peter from Fern House asked if I wanted to tag along on the hour or so trip out of Philadelphia to Longwood Gardens I couldn’t say no. It had been a long and fairly snow heavy winter and a chance to explore any part of conservatory and the thousand acres that make up the Gardens was welcomed. While we couldn’t explore too much of the outdoor gardens, the five thousand plants throughout the twenty indoor gardens that make up the conservatory were more than enough to get this winter heart ready for spring.
