The ATL Botanical Garden is among the great wonders of the horticultural world, located in the southern region of the US. Lucky for us Floridians, the pilgrimage is not so bad. These snaps were taken back in April when spring was in full sprung. Outside was filled acres of japanese gardens, edibles, mini pine forests and exotic flowers. Along with their outdoor collections, they have three indoor collections that really made me swoon: tropical rotundas, orchid wonderlands and a desert house. Their succulent and cacti exhibit was a main highlight for me. Millions of succulent species spanned the entire length of the greenhouse, dangling over wooden pergolas, blooming out of flower pots, creeping through the crevices of stepping stones. It’s a beautiful place to spend a sunday afternoon in the soft side of the city and leave a sweet spot in your heart. Whether it's a last minute road trip or a planed week-long excursion, Bloom heavily encourages including plants in your trip and a visit to your local botanical garden.
